Diluent for long-term storage of alkaline phosphatase conjugates AP-Protector? is a long-term stabilizer for alkaline phosphatase (AP) coupled to antibodies or eutravidin/Streptavidin. AP-Protector? can give peroxidase conjugates the crucial long-term stability over several years even when stored in low concentrated ready-to-use dilutions. APProtector? can be used directly as an assay buffer for incubating the AP-conjugates. Typical ready-to-use concentrations for detection are between 100-1000 ng/mL.

Instructions for use
AP-Protector? is ready-to-use. Please shake the buffer thoroughly before use.
Conjugates can be diluted directly in AP-Protector? in end-user concentrations. Typical concentrations of conjugates are in between 100 and 1000 ng/mL. AP-Protector? can be used directly as assay buffer in immunoassays.
Stability data of one alkaline phosphatase conjugate cannot be transferred to other conjugates. Therefore every conjugate has to be tested for its shelf life in AP-Protector?. If AP-Protector? is used for immunodiagnostic kits, the shelf life has to be tested according to the regulatory requirements for diagnostics, which apply.
Please note that high protein concentration and/or microbial contamination may lead to reduced effectivity of the preservative. If you add your conjugate/antibody for storage and you are not sure about the potential microbial contamination, it may be beneficial to add additional preservatives or antibiotics.
